Itenerary


Day 1:

Briefing. Depart from your Hotel at 08:15hrs for Amboseli National Park. Drive through the scenic vast lands of the Athi plains via the Masai town Bisslet to the Amboseli National Park. Lunch. Afternoon game drive in this beautiful national park with vast and varied wildlife from 15:30hrs to 8:30hrs. Dinner and Overnight at the camp.

Day 2:

Early morning game drive from 06:30hrs to 10:30hrs. Return to camp for a late breakfast and relaxation or optional visit to the local Masai village. Afternoon game drive 15:30hrs to 18:30hrs in search of the Huge African Elephants under the shadows of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3:

Early morning game drive from 06:30hrs to 10:30hrs. Breakfast. Depart from Mt Kenya with picnic lunch boxes. Drive through the plush Kikuyu farmlands of tea and coffee to the Mt Kenya camp arriving late afternoon. Relax Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 4:

Proceed for a horseback safari from 06:30hrs to 10:30hrs in the Bamboo forest. Lunch. Afternoon trekking to the very interesting pre-historic “Mau Mau” caves from 15:00hrs to 15:30hrs. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5:

Drive to the North towards Samburu game reserve passing via the Equator and Nanyuki town. Lunch. Afternoon game drives to explore this reserve for the Northern species of game not seen South of the Equator, i.e. Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 6:

Samburu is known to have high temperatures so game drives are done from 06:30hrs to 10:30hrs in the mornings and from 16:00hrs to 18:00hrs in the afternoon. The camp is situated near the crocodile infested Uaso Nyiro river where a beautiful view of the huge African crocodiles are seen lazing around in the sun. All meals at the camp.

Day 7:

Early morning game drive from 06:30hrs to10:00hrs in search of the most commonly found resident cat THE LEOPARD. Late breakfast and proceed to Marala safari camp. Arrive late afternoon. Relax. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 8:

Be ready for the adventurous camel safari with the Maasai Morans with picnic Lunch boxes from 09:00hrs to 18:00hrs. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 9:

Drive through the semi arid areas of Kenya to L.Baringo Arrive mid afternoon and relax and have an early dinner and await the arrival of hippos and crocodiles to rest for the night near the camp.

Day 10:

Proceed for a walking safari to the L.Bogoria National Park and view thousands of flamingos, Pelicans, hotsprings, Zebras, Impalas and many more Rare Kudu are also to be found here and nowhere else in East and Central Africa Return to Baringo for late lunch. Relax. Afternoon boat ride for 2 1/2 hours round the different islands of Baringo whilst feeding the Fish Eagle Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 11:

A wake up call is not required in Baringo as the singing of the birds works as an alarm clock so everyone loves to hear to them. Drive to L.Nakuru for lunch. Afternoon game drive from 15:30hrs to 18:30hrs in the beautiful renowned national park for the Black and White Rhino besides other game such as the Waterbuck, Thompsons Gazelle, Reticulated Giraffes, Lions and many more. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 12:

Early morning game drive from 6:30hrs to 10:00hrs. Breakfast. Drive into the breathtaking Great Rift Valley to the scenic L.Naivasha. Lunch. Afternoon bicycle safari to the Hell’s Gate National Park from 14:30hrs to 16:30hrs. Dinner and ovenight at the camp.

Day 13:

Drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve via a Maasai town known as Narok. Then off to Kenya’s premier game reserve. Game Drive in the scenic game reserve with the beautiful Maasai plains in the background and the vast and varied selection of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 14:

A full day game viewing with the picnic lunch boxes from 7:30hrs to 18:00hrs. Every year Masai Mara is the finishing point for the migration of over 2 million wildebeest and zebras a spectacle that one can only imagine. Crossing the Mara River are large prides of Black-Maned tree climbing Lions with over 30 lionesses and cubs, commonly seen besides the other members of the BIG FIVE. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 15:

Early morning game drive from 6:30hrs to 10:30hrs in search of the large prides who in turn are in search of their prey. Cheetahs are to be found usually hunting at this time. Return to the camp for late breakfast. Depart from Masai Mara late morning having lunch en route to Nairobi and arriving in the green city in the sun late afternoon.
