Day 2: Exploring Nairobi
Start your day with breakfast at the resort (own arrangement) before visiting some of Nairobi's most iconic attractions:
- Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage – Witness the heartwarming feeding session at 11 AM and learn about elephant conservation.
- Giraffe Centre – Get up close and personal with endangered Rothschild giraffes.
- Lunch – Enjoy a meal at one of Nairobi's local eateries (on your own).
- Karen Blixen Museum – Delve into the history of the famed author of Out of Africa at her former home.
Return to the resort for relaxation and dinner at the hotel, reflecting on a day filled with wildlife encounters and cultural insights.
Day 3: Nairobi & Personal Visit
Begin with breakfast before exploring more of Nairobi:
- Nairobi Safari Walk – Enjoy a scenic stroll ideal for birdwatching and learning about Kenya's diverse ecosystems.
- Nairobi Forest Road Cemetery – Pay respects at your grandparents' graves in a serene setting.
- Lunch and Afternoon – Savor lunch at a local restaurant and spend the afternoon at leisure, with optional shopping.
Unwind back at Blixen Resort & Spa for another peaceful evening.
Day 4: Journey to Samburu National Reserve
Embark on a scenic drive from Nairobi to Samburu, arriving in time for lunch at your camp.
- Evening Game Drive – Explore the rugged landscapes of Samburu, keeping an eye out for reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, and elusive leopards.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the camp, surrounded by the wild beauty of Samburu.
Day 5: Full Day in Samburu
Experience the magic of Samburu with:
- Full-Day Game Drive – Venture deep into the reserve, witnessing unique wildlife and stunning vistas.
- Birdwatching at Ewaso Nyiro River – Spot colorful bird species near the riverbanks.
Return to the camp for relaxation, dinner, and an evening under the African sky.
Day 6: Drive from Samburu to Nyeri

Relax on the sun-drenched beaches of Watamu, soaking in the Indian Ocean’s turquoise waters.
Enjoy the luxurious facilities of your all-inclusive AHG hotel or similar, with optional water sports, excursions, or simply lounging by the beach.
Day 19: Return to Nairobi & Departure
Take a morning flight back to Nairobi and connect to your flight back home, cherishing memories of incredible wildlife adventures, cultural experiences, and serene coastal relaxation.

Booking policy:
A non-refundable deposit of 35% of the tour price is required on confirmation if made more than 90 days before the departure of the tour. Balance of payment is required 8 weeks before departure. If the reservation is made within 60 days of the tour's departure date, full payment for the tour is required.
