Starting January 1, 2024, Masai Mara National Reserve is adjusting its park fees to better support conservation efforts and improve infrastructure. For non-residents, the entry fees will be USD 100 per day during the low season (January to June) and USD 200 per day during the high season (July to December). For children aged 9 to 17, the fee remains USD 50 per day throughout the year, and those under 8 years can enter for free.

Additionally, a new 12-hour rule will require visitors departing after 11 a.m. to pay for an additional full day. This regulation applies even if engaging in activities like hot air balloon safaris on departure days​

Please also note that the implementation of a 12-hour rule (6am -6pm) is with immediate effect and applies to any guests departing the Masai Mara National Reserve after 11am, where an additional (full day) park fee will be charged.

Guests undertaking any activity (such as a hot air balloon safari) within the Mara Triangle / Mara Conservancy on the morning of departure, are required to pay a full day park fee on that day.
