Daily Breakdown
Depart Nairobi after a safari briefing and begin the drive toward the Masai Mara. The route passes through the Great Rift Valley and rural landscapes before reaching the reserve area. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, check in and take a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for the first game drive, giving guests an immediate chance to experience the Mara’s open plains and wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Spend the day in the Masai Mara with either a full-day game drive and picnic lunch or morning and afternoon drives, depending on the final lodge and guide plan. This is the main safari day, allowing enough time to search for big cats, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and other plains wildlife.
